"Bahiryatra" means "journey" in Sanskrit. This image came to me in a free-association way while I was pregnant with my third daughter. Though the road be narrow and the forest dark, keep your eye on the path.
I liked layering the colors to create a stained glass feel. It was fun using color that way and I like how the under-image in pen and ink showed through the colored pencil above it.
